Setting Expectations for the Reception

Let’s talk Reception. Here are the top-lines:

• We will start with cocktail hour on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. You will see us when you walk in. At 5:30PM we will head to the 6th floor for dinner and dancing. The 6th floor is accessible by stairs and elevator.

• Dinner is a surprise, so just go with it. Please do advise of any dietary restrictions you may have when you RSVP.

• We will be sticking to a few traditions, including several speeches and first dances. You know the drill.

• What’s the vibe? We thought A Midwinter Night’s Dream had a nice ring to it - cozy, romantic, moody. It will be cold outside and warm inside so dress appropriately. We’ll be in black tie, but dark suits & tuxes, and wintery dresses or creative interpretations are welcome.

• Emma is a monster on the dance floor so please say hello before the music starts.
